FEBRUARY 26, 2007

Friday, March 2nd (11PM – 5AM) - Toronto, ON

It’s that time of year again when we celebrate the arrival to our world of two of the Toronto club scene’s most beloved characters:
Jenn (of Double J) and Deko-ze (of de decks) fame.  It’s become an annual tradition of mammoth proportions, so by now you should know the drill – get there EARLY to avoid problems getting in – even if you are on the list!  There is always more people wanting in than club capacity at Footwork.  Beyond that, expect a kick-ass good night out, with beats provided by JayForce, Nathan Barato and the birthday boy, Deko-ze.

For the last several years,
Deko-ze and the PPM Crew have spent the fall planning and scheming up another wild and wacky MAYHEM’ night for the Hallowe’en season.  Alas, with the closure of System Soundbar, so went the fiendish inspiration for continuing the concept. But Deko-ze will definitely be raising the dead and gyrating the ghouls all this week.  Check it out...

Friday, October 27th (10PM – 6AM) - Toronto, ON
A new Friday night exclusively for edgy boys is about to ‘UNLEASH’ in Toronto.  Held at ALIBI — the originating home of Deko-ze’s
‘Volume Sundays’ when it was called CUBE — opening night features Jamal and Deko-ze, who spins from 10 PM  to 2:30 AM, before heading off to Footwork.

The DEKO-ZE – DELICIOUS tour keeps on rolling.  Last week it was the battle of the flying bugs; this week it is the battle of upper versus lower Canada (or for those who failed their high school history courses, Ontario versus Quebec).

Thursday, things get started at the long-running
Terminal Nightclub in Quebec City on Friday night.  Saturday sees Deko-ze return to Ottawa to do his thing at Surface.  And Sunday will be ‘Perfect’ one more time at one of Deko-ze’s favourite residencies at Parking in Montreal.

Who will reign supreme?  Which province has the most up-for-it punters?  Get out there and represent.  And while you’re at it, take a bite out of something delicious!

As we head into the third weekend of the ‘DEKO-ZE – DELICIOUS Canadian DJ Tour, let us just take a moment to say....THANKS!!!

With dates in Toronto, London, Calgary and Victoria already complete, we can safely say the tour is turning out to be a resounding success!!

The Launch Party at Footwork in Toronto was off the hook.  It turned out to be the single busiest night the club has ever had!!  Not bad, T.O. Massive!!!!  Unfortunately, this did mean that a lot of people got turned away at the door.  Don’t dismay - you get another chance at nearby gigs in Hamilton, Niagara Falls and Kingston, OR right in your own backyard at FLY in Toronto.

The September gig at Fly is also the next opportunity to check out jaQe performing live to Deko-ze’s remix of Nick Fiorucci’s ‘Need Your Love’.  JaQe was overwhelmed with the enthusiasm and support from the crowds at Footwork and The Phoenix in London.  She’s looking forward to belting it out again for the shirtless wonders at upcoming dates at Toronto’s Fly and Montreal’s Parking.

In the meantime, hold on tight Party-People in the West and Party-People in the East, because you’ll be feeling ‘Delicious’ real soon.

Deko-ze hits Reflections in Halifax this
Friday, Aug. 25th, followed by what is sure to be another amazing night at Liquid Ice in St. John’s on Saturday, Aug. 26th.

Long weekend tour dates include an
Groove204’sSerendipity Festival’ in Winnipeg on Friday, Sept. 1st.  The tour then moves to Vancouver on Saturday, Sept. 2nd for the Believe Audio night at Red Room — which just happens to be the launch of a brand new residency for Deko-ze in that city!

Sunrise Records should also now be stocking the title.

AUGUST 8, 2006

This day has been a long time coming:  the official release date of Deko-ze’s first licensed mix CD!  But first, a little background. . .

Deko-ze has managed to achieve what many industry insiders would consider the impossible: rising to the top of the DJ ladder WITHOUT the benefit of studio production to back him up.

Many of today’s ‘top DJs’ are not even adept at mixing or programming, but rather are skilled studio technicians who get booked as DJs on the basis of their tracks’ popularity.  It is rare for a DJ to make it outside their own community without the hype and press that goes along with a hit song.

While this says a lot about Deko-ze’s abilities behind the decks, it has also encouraged him to find the time over the last few years to focus on production.  He has increasingly put his energy into studio work — both alone, and in partnership with several local producers, including Gavin ‘Gavo’ Bradley,
Josh Ewert, and Nick ‘Fierce’ Fiorucci.

Creating quality music is only the first step, however.  Getting it out there is another!  Deko-ze has passed on several production contracts in recent years, waiting for just the right moment and just the right deal.  That time has come, as Deko-ze has signed a multi-year artist development deal with Hi-Bias Records.  Deko-ze looks forward to a positive and rewarding experience with the well-established and internationally-entrenched label.

Click on the Delicious CD Flyer to see full size

In addition to a single release and two remixes in the coming months, one of the initial results of Deko-ze’s deal with Hi-Bias records is an officially licensed DJ Mix.  Entitled  ‘DELICIOUS’, the CD was programmed and mixed by Deko-ze in a style that is entirely his own:  “fresh tribal, electro, and funky house flavours flawlessly blended into one tasty serving!”

The CD includes tracks and remixes by Chus & Ceballos, Tom ‘Superchumbo’ Stephan, Danny Tenaglia, Deux, Mark Knight feat. Katherine Ellis, Starkillers and more.  It also highlights Canadian talent with Paranoid Jack, Carlo Lio, Sherrie Lea, Nick Fiorucci feat. jaQe, and – of course – Deko-ze, included.

To find out more about the CD, including a track-selection commentary by Deko-ze, and on-line source for ordering CD or MP3, go to the DELICIOUS MIX CD Section.

In support of his brand new CD, Deko-ze is striking out on an extensive cross-canada journey!  The ‘DEKO-ZE – DELICIOUS 2006 CANADIAN DJ TOUR’ will touch down in almost every major city in the country.

Coordinated by PPM Promotions, and co-presented by Hi-Bias Records and Klublife Magazine, the tour launches on August 11th in Toronto and concludes on October 7th in Saskatoon, with 18 stops along the way!

If ever there was an occasion for the gay community to congregate and celebrate, it is this one!  The stars have aligned, and history is about to be made!  DIVERS/CITE, Montreal’s PRIDE festivities are always a stand-out.  This year, in addition to the regular party-goers that swarm to Montreal every August Long Weekend for PRIDE, will be thousands of OUT GAMES participants and spectators.

In addition to the multiple club events and BBCM parties going on, the DIVERS/CITE crew host the most integral events of the weekend.  Their Sunday afternoon street party is always off the hook, as are the PM Deluxe / Sunset Party and Pride Ball, which is where you can catch Deko-ze.

JULY 3, 2006

PRIDE Toronto has come and gone once again, but it leaves behind one sweet afterglow!  With fantastic weather, an increasingly impressive free street party entertainment line-up (Ultra Nate, David Morales, Vernessa Mitchell, Celeda, Billy Carol, etc.), and a host of great night-time parties, it was a fine return to form after a couple of bumpy years.

Friday night’s Boot Camp was dirty and hot (just the way it ought to be!), while Fly’s Grapefruit was sassy and vocal (just the way it ought to be!) Aqua at The Docks was shimmering with buffed boys and (a few) bronzed girls, while David Morales’ last-minute replacement for Peter Rauhoffer at Sunday’s Revival didn’t keep it from being a stellar party — Sofonda’s show was the stuff legends are made of!!!

Saturday night saw well-attended and vibe-o-licious parties all over town:  David Morales’ Peep Show at Sonic; the Beef Ball at the Opera House for the tough & leather set; and the PRISM Weekend main event: City of Babylon with Tony Moran and Manny Lehman.

Once again, Deko-ze fans also got their fix during PRIDE.  Unfortunately, Deko-ze’s opening set for New York legend, Junior Vasquez, went out the window when the BOING event planned for CIRCA was cancelled due to construction delays at the venue.

Fortunately, there was plenty of other opportunities to hear Deko-ze, starting with an all-night set at the PRISM Weekend opening party, Ignition, on Thursday at 5ive.  It was a double dose of Deko-ze at Comfort Zone Sunday and Monday mornings, thanks to a special PRIDE edition of Come Get Your Fcuk’en Beats featuring Deko-ze & Sydney Blu, plus great Toronto talent not normally seen at the Zone:  Neill MacLeod, Juniah! and DJ:TK.

And lets not forget the best of all: the Sunday free stages in The Village. This year, Deko-ze managed to squeeze in two sets, starting off at the South Stage and building up to a live performance by Ultra Nate....’Free to do what you want to do’ was definitely a theme for the day.  Next it was off for a street-side interview for an upcoming special on BPM TV.

Once again — as in years’ past — it was the Wellesley Stage that would prove to be the single best party Toronto witnesses all year.  Mind-blowing fun!  The Collector and DJ:TK got things rolling earlier in the day while Don Berns (aka famous rave DJ, Dr. Trance) took it up a notch with his air guitar and showman style!!  Deko-ze & Jelo finished up the way they do every year — transforming the street into a giant wave of energy, sexiness and positive vibe.

By now, many of you have heard that Deko-ze was recently involved in a car accident on the drive home from a regional gig.  Adding fuel to the fire for the often quoted ‘HARDEST WORKING DJ IN CANADA” tag is Shaun Proulx, XTRA! Magazine columnist and GAY GUIDE TORONTO editor:

“Who can argue that DJ Deko-ze defines dedication?  Following a car accident late one night driving home from a gig in London, the DJ found himself in a hospital in Woodstock.  With no time to go home for fresh clothing or to switch up his music, the DJ found a ride from the hospital straight to Pearson airport, where he then flew to a gig in Edmonton, flying back the next evening to make gigs in both Toronto and Montreal.  Altogether now:  What the fuck?  Kudos to you, Mr. Michael and hope you’re well on the mend.”

MARCH 22, 2006

It was certainly a warm winter, and March definitely came in like a lamb...so you better believe it’s going to go out like a lion – at least Deko-ze’s schedule is looking that way!  Having just returned from western Canadian gigs in Saskatoon, Calgary (Fahrenheit) and Victoria (Hush), Deko-ze is gearing up to take it to the east with an Anniversary set at Reflections in Halifax this weekend, and his Stereo debut in Montreal next weekend.  That’s not all, of course!  Check out the DJ SCHEDULE Section for a comprehensive listing, plus a peek ahead at what’s in store for April.

Thursday, March 30th  (10PM – 3AM) - Toronto, ON
After nearly a year of frequent guest stints at BEBA LOUNGE’S  ‘Full Moon Thursdays’, Deko-ze has decided to formalize his relationship with the hip College Street mid-weeker.  Every second week, our boy will join weekly resident Sydney Blu for some serious tunes, magic elixirs and outlandish behaviour.  Low cover, cheap drinks, good times! This Thursday’s
‘THRUST monthly is hosted by Murray Rowe and Steve Ireson (‘It’s A Boys Life’ / 5ive), so anticipate a larger sprinkling of ‘boyz’ at this generally straight party.

Saturday, April 1st  (11PM – 8AM) - Montreal, PQ
This is the big one you’ve all been waiting for!!  Following up an amazing year-long residency for PARKING’S “Perfect Sundays”, Deko-ze makes his long overdue STEREO debut!   Also on the bill are Montreal faves, Gilles Jr & Patrick Guay.  The entire Deko-ze team will be heading to Montreal for the weekend.  Look forward to seeing YOU there!!!

Once again, Jenn (of DoubleJ promotions) and Deko-ze teamed up to celebrate their birthdays in grand raucous style!  Held at FOOTWORK on Friday, February 24th, it was rafters-room-only for everyone who showed up to wish them well, and stayed to go off to the beats of Addy, Jay Force and special guest, Nick ‘Fierce’ Fiorrucci (owner of Hi-Bias Records).  Of course, the birthday boy, himself threw down a set of good-time grooves.

Deko-ze is now contributing a monthly chart to BPM TV.  You can check out his chart for the national digital TV dance music channel by going to their website.  The included charts represent viewer’s faves, BPM TV’s own video countdown, and a commercial dance singles chart.  Now, the underground / club scene is properly represented by Deko-ze and his ear to the ground, presence in the record stores and record pools — and these days — time spent scouring the internet!

BPM TV Charts

Even more exciting is the
Spotlight that BPM TV has been preparing on our favourite DJ.  The BPM cameras have been following Deko-ze around since last spring at Toronto PRIDE.  With subsequent stops at Release Records, a charity / media event, and at Deko-ze’s new Gallery residency, the program is now complete.   The Spotlight on Deko-ze (and another fave, Donald Glaude) will air on Thursday, February 24th at 9:00 PM.  It will then fall into repeat rotation along with past BPM Spotlights on the likes of Ferry Corsten, Rabbit In The Moon, Paul Oakenfold and Tiesto.  Check it out.

BPM TV website

And also keep your eyes peeled for a rotating ‘
BPM TV PRESENTS...” special on ‘THE UNDERGROUND’.  The special had it’s initial airing a couple weeks ago, but will continue to pop up on the channel.  It features many of the places and faces GTA partiers know and love —  Footwork, Fly, Comfort Zone, dj Kenny Glasgow, drag queen Sofonda Cox, promoters Jenn & JJ of Double D, and Scenester Magazine’s Raquel Richards.

BPM TV Programming Schedule

In addition to
BPM TV, Deko-ze is also contributing to GGT (Gay Guide Toronto’s) DJ PLAY / SAY column.  The GGT chart is not, however, simply a shopping list of names and titles.  Rather, it is a chance for a rotating selection of Toronto’s gay jocks to tell you why they like the tracks they are currently pounding.  Check out Deko-ze’s current Top 10.

GGT - DJ/PLAY/SAY Column

And while you are visiting the Gay Guide Toronto site, don’t miss out on the sometimes controversial, frequently amusing, and always informative
‘Sissy Pulse’, written by Toronto’s number one party personality, Charles Pavia.  Those of you outside big metropolitan areas won’t get the reference to CITY TV’s City Pulse, but suffice it to say, they only THINK they are ‘everwhere’.  And more to the point, SISSY PULSE isn’t everywhere, but it is EVERYWHERE that matters!

“DOMESTIC” at Footwork seemed like a gamble when it began last summer.  A new weekly with an all-local line-up, minimal promotion and an obscure location.  Hope you placed your bets wisely, because the night has become a smashing success and favourite haunt of local house-heads!  Hosted by Double J (Jenn & JJ),  Stan Club, Greg & Disco Lyle and the man behind the night, DJ Addy, it also boasts bi-weekly residents, Deko-ze and Manzone & Strong.  Also, in frequent rotation are J-Prez, Carlo Lio, Nathan Barato and Vinyl Junkies.

Check it out this Friday, and start gearing up for the
THIRD ANNUAL JENN & DEKO-ZE BIRTHDAY BASH to be held at Footwork on Friday, February 24th.

And don’t get lost!  The address is 425 Adelaide Street, but you enter off the first alley south of Adelaide on Brant Street.

It’s a New Year, everyone.  Assuming our crystal ball is working properly, we can let you in on a llittle secret — it’s gonna be a big year for Mr. Michael ‘Deko-ze’ Babb.  BIG!  Keep checking back here or sign up for Deko-ze’s mailing list to keep informed on some major upcoming announcements.

DECEMBER 27, 2005

HAPPY HOLIDAYS everyone!  Hope you are all huddled with your loved ones, celebrating — or just getting cosy — in whatever way is your custom.  Also hope you had fun at Deko-ze's various local Christmas / Boxing Day events at Beba Lounge, Comfort Zone, Guvernment and Republik.

Last Friday, the venerable “BREATHE” took its final breath, as System Soundbar prepares to close its doors after providing years of underground beats in the heart of Toronto's mainstream club district.  As one of two original weekly residents, and continuing as a bi-weekly resident to the very end (six years later!!), Deko-ze was an integral part of one of the most influential club nights Toronto has ever witnessed.  ‘Breathe' was entirely responsible for ushering in the progressive house sound and introduced world-class talents like Danny Howells,
Steve Lawler, Sander Kleinenberg, Anthony Pappa, Hernon Cattaneo, James Holden, Chris Fortier, Slacker, Cass, Oliver Lieb, Jimmy Van M., Scumfrog and Sister Bliss, to the city.

As this will be the last update of 2006, the focus will be on the busy NEW YEAR'S weekend .  If you're in the
Toronto ( Destiny, Guvernment, Comfort Zone ) or Montreal ( Parking ) areas, you'll be able to ring in the New Year with Deko-ze.  And if you're not, he's bound to be hitting up your area soon.  HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Saturdays (11PM – 6AM) - Toronto, ON
Since its amazing opening on November 14th, GALLERY at The Guvernment Complex, has quickly become one of the hottest tickets in town.  The stylish set have found a funky new late-night Saturday home!!  The unique baroque-themed room (flocked wallpaper, cast-iron chandeliers and a friendly antelope!)  plays host to Toronto’s top house jocks:  Sydney Blu, Nathan Barato, Addy, and Deko-ze, who will be spinning whenever he is in town.  The PPM crew (Erin, Wade Allan, Murray) will be hosting on nights when Deko-ze appears.  A diverse, sexy and mixed crowd has been filling the place, so come early (and stay late!)  Style code in effect!  1 Jarvis Street (corner of 132 Queens Quay East & Jarvis)

As DEKO-ZE gets ready to head for Quebec this weekend, we have gone back through the past year to collect various media pieces on Deko-ze's emergence as a headlining act in LA BELLE PROVENCE. Though he's been playing the occasional rave or club night in both Montreal and Quebec City for over six years, it was really in 2005, with his new residency at PARKING and high-profile gigs during DIVERSITE (Montreal's Gay Pride festivities), that his status in Quebec has caught up with the rest of the country.

Thanks to everyone for crawling out from under their headstones and, once again, making
MAYHEM at System Soundbar a blood-curdling success.  The third annual Hallowe'en tune-and-goon fest promoted by PPM, SCENESTER MAGAZINE and BREATHE was held on Friday, October 28th.  J-PREZ did a great job of setting the mood for DEKO-ZE (in frighteningly fused Michael Jackson / El Debarge Zombie garb), who took over the decks at 1:30 AM and accelerated the mayhem until 8:00 AM.

This year's theme was
'NIGHT OF THE LIVING DREADS' and even though the event was held several days before Hallowe'en, there was plenty of ghoulish zombies, sinister characters, bulging bicep boys and hot chicks with snakes in their hair!  Speaking of snakes... did you see the giant live one, the sword swallower, the fire breather, the hooker from Harveys?  And yes, even Jesus made an appearance.  No Elvis, however. Check out the pics in the Deko-ze Galleria.

'THE T.O. CHAINSAW MASCARA' was a resounding success.  The tramped up / camped up ghouls and goblins came out in droves to celebrate the 'MAYHEM' ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARYSydney Blu and Deko-ze dropped the devious beats while the Circus Orange swallowed flames and blew a few sparks with their surreal metal clothing / grinder show.  It was truly a night where gothic horror met high camp.

On a personal note, Deko-ze wishes to acknowledge the recent passing of Brent Carmichael.  Brent has been the primary resident DJ and main force behind Hush Nightclub (and formerly The Limit) in Victoria, BC for many years.  As such, his influence on the Vancouver Island scene was very broad - as was his sense of humour!  Deko-ze and Brent became friends over the years that Deko-ze has had his residency there, and he will certainly be missed.

Daniel Paquette, music writer for Toronto's FAB Magazine, a gay bi-weekly, recently undertook the arduous task of attempting to rank the top local and international DJs.  Long a favourite of Canada's straight parties and clubs, Deko-ze was a virtual unknown in the Toronto gay scene just one year ago.  That did not stop him from ranking NUMBER 2 in the TORONTO TOP 10.  As expressed by Paquette "Deko-ze is high on this list because of his incredibly rapid rise in 2004 on Church Street from a residency at lub to his highly successful weekly, Hung at 5ive."  He then went on to note that "the most versatile DJ on this list is also the busiest and most in-demand."

"FAB Magazine: "He's hung and versatile: Deko-ze's star is on the rise."

In addition to the FAB article described above, there are several other new additions to the PUBLICITY Page, including columns on Deko-ze from Vancouver's "The Georgia Straight", Buffalo's "About Magazine", and Toronto's "EYE Weekly" and "XTra!"  Go to the PUBLICITY section now!

SEPTEMBER 21, 2004

It is sad to say, but summer has come and gone - and with it, those perfect summer parties and boat cruises.  With nine bookings over five days and three cities, LABOUR DAY LONG WEEKEND was Deko-ze's busiest booking period in history!  Although all were memorable, it was Deko-ze's extended closing set in the KOOL HAUS at GUVERNMENT'S "LABOUR OF LOVE" following the likes of FERRY CORSTEN and INFUSION that was a highlight.  Originally scheduled to finish at 8AM, the passionate massive refused to go home, so Deko-ze played on - reluctantly ending his set at 8:50 AM in order to rush to his 9:00 AM COMFORT ZONE booking!!!

AUGUST 26, 2004

H20 - the third in the extremely successful MAYHEM series, was held Friday, August 13th at SYSTEM SOUNDBAR.  Promoted by PPM, Freak Entertainment & Sound Symbol, the night was hot, wet and slippery, and clearly proved that MAYHEM draws the most up-for-it and diverse crowd of partiers in the city!  Cajjmere Wray housed out the front room, while Aaron Mossey threw down the progressive beats to warm up the main room for Deko-ze's 6-hour extended set.  Revellers sweated out on the throbbing dancefloor while tripping out to the contradictory images of Jaws and Finding Nemo!  Fortunately, there was icy blue sno-cones and the occassional dj-powered water-gun burst to cool every one off.  Not to mention the unannounced odd and/or sultry sights making one question: "What the fuck?"  That's what Mayhem is all about folks!!!  Watch for the one year anniversary of MAYHEM on October 29, 2004.

AUGUST 3, 2004

July was a pretty insane month for Deko-ze.  Fortunately, great times were had by all on Toronto Harbour boat cruises promoted by Close / Amigo's, System Soundbar and Escape.  July also marked the 10th Anniversary of WEMF (World Electronic Music Festival) at Wasaga Beach, Ontario, as well as the long overdue return of Deko-ze to Reflections in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

JULY 7, 2004

Deko-ze had the distinct honour of being selected as cover model / feature story for
XTRA Magazine's PRIDE Issue, June 24, 2004.  With a circulation over 100,000 copies for PRIDE, it was certainly alot of exposure, and we do mean 'exposure'!   Read the Cover Story in Deko-ze's PUBLICITY Section .

PRIDE Toronto (held June 21st - 27th, 2004) has now come and gone.  It was an extremely hectic weekend for Deko-ze, with seven gigs at six different venues:  5ive; System Soundbar; Glam Boutique; Comfort Zone; Lub Lounge; Wellesley Stage.  Without question, the highlight was the free street party Wellesley Stage on the evening of PRIDE Sunday.  Thousands of revellers danced their feet off to Jelo, Deko-ze, Dr. Trance and Glen Vernon.  Just when you thought the intensity couldn't get any higher, Deko-ze dropped his drawers, at the insistance of Dr. Trance and a crowd highly amused at the circulating XTRA cover photo of Deko-ze.  For many (straight or gay), the Wellesley Stage has been the highlight of PRIDE the last three years running, and arguably the single best party in Toronto all summer.

JUNE 16, 2004

Well, the summer events are sure coming together nicely.  Deko-ze threw down on two Toronto Harbour boat cruises in June.  The first, hosted by ESCAPE, was largely known as the COMFORT ZONE cruise.  The vastly diverse and up-for-it crowd certainly reflected the vibe and makeup of Toronto's best-kept secret.  Where else do jock guys, ravers, barbies and queers all come together to celebrate a good time and good music?  An amazing time was had by all.  July 4th is the next ESCAPE cruise.

A week later,
CLOSE/AMIGO'S (or as many refer to it, the FILM LOUNGE cruise) sailed off on their second of several cruises this summer.  Deko-ze and Manzone & Strong supplied the beats for Toronto's most stylish head-turners and trend-setters.  Watch for their next cruise on July 18th.

Meanwhile, the Calgary Gay Pride event, "
FIRE & ICE", featuring Deko-ze and Montreal's Serge Duchesne, was a resounding success as a rare circuit-style event held in the Canadian Prairies.  The boys certainly exist there, but they often aren't exposed to proper underground grooves at all-gay events; this was a large step in the right direction.

MAY 19, 2004

On Saturday, May 15th, Deko-ze was let loose on the boys at Toronto's weekly circuit massive at FLY. With a schedule that hosts world-renowned circuit headliners week after week, Deko-ze and resident, Shawn Riker, proved that local boys can not only pull in a bigger crowd, but hold them there to the reluctant end. Deko-ze also proved that the boys will appreciate deeper and harder sounds than the standard circuit house fare which has dominated the gay scene for so long...a sign of things to come, perhaps!

MARCH 23, 2004 :

MAYHEM, held on March 12th at System Soundbar, was once again, a smashing success.  A truly diverse crowd of sexy clubbers, aging ravers, party bois, and girlz for girlz came out to experience a night of "Smokin' Beats, Creamy Villains, Dark Heroes and Silver Linings".  Once again, Deko-ze / PPM , with the assistance of several local promoters, made this special "Breathe" event a night its attendees won't soon forget.

While hosts Wade Allan, Misstress Raquel & The Diva Contraire 'cocktailed' silver-wrapped hersheys kisses to the party peeps dressed in thematic black & white, Neill MacLeod threw down some serious tribal beats.  Additionally, Czech and Bangin' Mark laid down their own respective trademark sounds in the front and back rooms.  When Deko-ze took center stage, the place went ba
